About Your Programme and Modules

Each programme consists of various modules and learning resources designed to support students in the successful completion of their studies.

Depending on the programme and module, the e-Learning platform may include:

  • Pre-recorded instructional videos with interactive questions
  • Discussion forums
  • An assessment section containing information regarding applicable assessments
  • Access to a free e-Library
  • A module or course outline
  • A guideline section providing information on how to use the e-Learning platform

Important Notes

  • Students are responsible for providing their own computer, mobile device, internet connection, software and other hardware required to access and complete their studies.
  • Where specific software is required for a module, London International College will provide guidance, where applicable, on the software required and how it may be accessed or installed.
  • London International College does not provide technical support for students' personal hardware, devices, operating systems or third-party software.
  • All technical support requests relating to the College's e-Learning platform must be submitted by email to info@londoninternational.org.uk.

Assessments and Examinations

  1. All assessment and examination-related requests or queries must be submitted by email to info@londoninternational.org.uk.
  2. Final grades will be reviewed and approved within four (4) weeks following the applicable assessment or examination submission, subject to completion of the required academic and administrative processes.
  3. Where a student is unable to complete an assessment or examination by the published deadline, supporting evidence must be submitted for consideration of a deferred assessment or examination. Where a student is aware in advance that they will be unable to participate on the published date, the student should notify the College by email no later than one (1) week before the relevant assessment or examination date and provide the appropriate supporting documentation. Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not automatically approved.
  4. Once an assessment has commenced, the assessment timer will continue to run even if the student closes the assessment browser or exits the assessment.

Interactive Videos

  1. Where applicable, interactive videos may be attempted again during the applicable study or assessment period, where permitted by the module settings. Where multiple attempts are permitted, the final recorded attempt will be used as the student's mark for that interactive video session.
  2. Students must select the STAR button at the end of the interactive video and click Submit on the confirmation screen in order for their responses to be recorded. Marks will not be saved unless the submission process is completed.
  3. Where applicable, students must complete the required interactive video before access to the associated live session is made available.

Use of the E-Learning Platform and Course Content

All content made available through the London International College e-Learning platform is protected by applicable intellectual property and copyright provisions.

Students must not, without prior written permission from the College or the relevant rights holder:

  • Record, screen capture, screen record or otherwise reproduce live or pre-recorded instructional videos
  • Download, reproduce, edit, distribute, publish, sell or otherwise commercially exploit course materials or recordings
  • Share their login credentials or provide unauthorised access to the e-Learning platform or course materials to another person

Course materials may include content owned by London International College as well as materials licensed from or provided by third-party publishers and content creators. Students must respect the intellectual property rights applicable to all such materials.

Financial Standing

London International College may offer flexible payment arrangements to students, subject to the applicable programme terms and the approval of the College.

To remain in good financial standing, students are required to keep all applicable fees up to date, including tuition fees, examination or assessment fees, awarding fees and any applicable administrative or miscellaneous fees.

Where a student has overdue fees and has not made an approved payment arrangement with the College, the College reserves the right to suspend or restrict access to certain academic and administrative services until satisfactory arrangements have been made.

Depending on the circumstances, students with outstanding financial obligations may:

  • Have their e-Learning account or access to classes suspended
  • Be restricted from submitting final assessments or undertaking final examinations
  • Be unable to request certain administrative documents, including transcripts, letters of completion or other official documentation
  • Be restricted from registering for additional programmes
  • Be unable to receive their qualification certificate until all applicable financial obligations have been satisfied

Students experiencing difficulty meeting their payment obligations are encouraged to contact the College's administration as soon as possible to discuss their circumstances and determine whether an appropriate payment arrangement can be made.

Examination and Award Fees

All examination, certification or award fees must be paid in the currency and manner specified by the relevant examination or awarding organisation.

Where London International College collects such fees on behalf of an awarding organisation, the applicable fee and payment requirements communicated by the College to the student will apply.

General Student Responsibility

Students are responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date contact information with the College
  • Protecting the confidentiality of their e-Learning login credentials
  • Meeting all published assessment, examination and programme deadlines
  • Maintaining suitable access to a compatible device, software and reliable internet connection
  • Regularly checking their College email communications and e-Learning platform for important academic and administrative updates

London International College reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions where necessary.
